Since its announcement this camera seemed like a possible replacement for my 6 year old Olympus c2100. Well, on the first day this camera was in stock at my local circuit city I run out and got it. Well, this camera looks sleek and is easy to use. That’s about the only positive things….

Now the negatives:
* Noise, Noise, Noise. Even at ISO 80.
* Colors are over saturated
* Very soft images
* Video recording very grainy. Many compression artifacts.
* Many focus problems. Especially at tele zoom.
* Did I mention noise? Especially with incandescent light. I took the camera to a party and out of 200 pictures maybe 20 had acceptable levels of noise and the rest was garbage.

I really hoped that this camera would be nice since my Olympus is kind of bulky but man did I get disappointed. I decided to return the camera, but before I took a series of pictures with both cameras (indoors and out doors) and the c2100 beats this camera in every aspect. It’s pathetic when a 6 year old 2.1 mega pixel camera is still superior in every aspect (except size)
