After considerable testing, I have come to the conclusion that the Evolt 500 is bar
none the best 8MP entry level dSLR camera on the market. The camera body is built
very well but not as ruggid as the Canon 20/30D but much tougher than the Canon
Rebel XT. In terms of image quality...wow, the colours from the Evolt are insainly
crisp and true to life with no noticable noise at low ISO. Night time shots are pretty
decent too, and compair pretty well with Rebel XT.
Like all dSLR noise becomes an issue at low battery power- and high ISO. Low ISO
with long shutter times can produce noise free images with noise filter engaged!
Every camera has it quirks, so play...and have fun.
Problems:
none, really. The flash seem a little weak, but thats an EASY fix. Same problem with
Nikon and Canon!
