This is actually my first Digital SLR although I have owned many 35mm SLR's. The Canon 30D is a work of art. It's construction is superb and feels great in my hand. The extra large 2.5" LCD is a big winner and the camera produces excellent photo resolution even at higher ISO's. If you are looking for a great Digital SLR for under $1500, you found it.
