This camera has a speciific use and once that's understood, then there is little to complain about. If you want a camera that's easy to use, takes clear pictures, then this is the one.

However, if you want to take action pictures or low light pictures, then this camera misses the mark. In low light, where a flash may or may not be required, the camera is painfully slow. I never know when it's going to take the shot. I just keep my finger on the shutter button and hope that something will happen before my subject moves out of the frame, or blinks their eyes, or whatever. The flash is woefully underpowered too. Maybe good for 10 feet.

One good thing is that the camera uses only 2 - AA batteries. Good news if you're stuck with nothing but dead rechargables in your pouch and you're near a convenience store.

The zoom is adequate for family shots and get togethers. The Macro mode is quite awesome too. The camera has 2 macro modes. One mode doesn't seem to be macro at all and the other mode has a real strong range (from 3/4" out to a few inches).

If you get this camera for a low price, and don't expect to need any features like colour balancing, high zoom power..etc, then this camera will be okay as it does take sharp pictures (when the camera has enough time to take a shot). I wish I knew what shutter speed it was going to use when it takes a pictures so I would know whether I was wasting my time or not (or whether I should grab a tripod or not).

Problems:

Luckily, I haven't encountered any problems.
