I just bought this camera and am very happy with my investment.
The Build quality is great and some of the good features are the swivel screen, remote shooting capability, good ISO, support for HC SD cards and the best part was Cannon gave me a whole offer (Digital Kit)..... A Carry Bag, 512 MB Mini SD + SD Adapter from Toshiba, 2100 mAh GP Batteries with charger, Cleaning kit. All this extra to what was already bundled.
The pictures are just amazing. The pics may get a little noisy when the ISO is increased. But that is expected.
All in all i am satisfied... I just wish IS was also included with this model..... Not sure about the Digic III processor... but maybe it will make some difference with the higher ISO shots.
I would recommend this camera.... It is going to be a great seller

Little Noisy Pics at Higher ISO's
Missed "IS" ---- Would complete the camera .... But then i cant be sooooooooo greedy
