I bought the C-8080 for moments I do not want to carry my DSLR s along with me on business trips. Metal construction for the body is excellent. The C-8080 use the same batteries as my E-1 and E-330 and that is a plus. I particularly like the ability to have 4 custom camera settings that can be easily accessed. Ergonomics is excellent for smaller hands. I can handhold it to 1/4 second and still take sharp photos.
ED f2.4 lens is amazing, clearly the best of the P/S that I have (compared to the Ricoh GRD and the Leica D-lux2) sharp even wide open , nice bokeh, creamy smooth and so 3-D. This lens holds its own against the Olympus 14-54, 50/2 macro and the Pentx ist DS with a 35/2 or 24/2. The ability to swivel the LCD as in my E-330 is a readl advantage in street photography: people think you are fiddling with your camera, not knowing you are shooting them
Problems:
I do not like the EVF. Focus is a bit slow.
