Just had a spin on an E400 and its amazing how a little camera like this, can be handled nicely as it is.I prefer the handling of the E 400 over the E 500.Feels solid enough - I wonder if not more solid than the E 500.I own several analogue Nikons - F2,FM2 and F501- as well as an Olympus OM1, and on the digitals,I own a Canon powershot S80 and two Sony's-S85 and F717. That said, I confess that I am a believer of the 4/3 Olympus system, in a way that I am awaiting the successor of the E1 .I offered my youngest son an E 500. These Olympus cameras, combined with the Pro or Top Pro Zuiko lenses could be great photographic tools. And on top of that, is the fact that probably and as far as I know, the Leica 3/4 lenses could also be attached to Olympus cameras, besides the Panasonics and future (???)Leicas.Sigma is making also nice "glasses" for the 3/4 systems, so....!!!.The 4/3 system is growing and growing...!!!
