I bought my Camera after reading all reviews on this site and other online sources. I am experiencing Very good Photo quality, construction money worth, I investigated a lot to buy a compact wide angle camera, cause I really love the wide angle, widest angle in compact is 28mm and I was between Canon, Ricoh and Panasonic all featuring 28mm wide angle, Although I am a Canon fan, this time I found Canon IXUS850IS far expensive (above 370 euros) on the other hand I read a lot about FX01 saying it has a lot on noise, I knew both are Japan made, so the construction was good, on the other hand Ricoh offers a 28-200mm normal construction not that compact, normal photo quality (becasue of fitting a big range zoom into the small boddy ofcourse) and Ricoh is made in China but still I figured out that Panasonic honestly did a real job this time comparing the price at the end I decided to buy FX01 140 euros cheaper than a Canon, 40 euros cheaper than a Ricoh R4, FX01 takes lovely photos, great speed, photo quality great, good freedom of adjustments...etc. Leica lens is perfectly excellent, you'll love having a wide lens in a very sexy boddy, I have a black color and I just love it...I say don't trust bad reviews about noise, they just don't know how to use ISO. don't set it on Auto, since Auto on any camera is for beginners, set the desired ISO and just have fun with it...and ofcourse any camera produces noise above ISO 200 and under bad light condition. My Idea is: GO FOR IT.
