Before reading this comment, you should know this is my first DSLR, so there is no brand loyalty.
Construction
When one first hold the K10D, he/she would realize this is a serious camera. The weight stood out, but hey..it is packed with advanced technologies. Hand grip is perfect,
Features
Shake reduction works in majority of cases and dust protection is excellent. The LCD monitor & panel are clear display useful informations. Water proof seals give peace of mind a chance. The softwares are useful and easy to use.
Image quality
Colours are vibrant and appealing. Exposure is well done. Images are very clear and detailed when correct settings are applied.
Ease of use
A few hours reading the manual would help most understand the features and how to operate. The buttons and dials are well placed making capturing and changing settings easy.
Value for money
This camera consists of many features others in the price range lack, making this camera one of the best deal out there. Although buying this camera would require the best accessories hence, higher price, it is totally justified as they are complement to the excellent performance of this camera.
Problems:
Occasionally, LCD screens get smudged by finger and nose (unless you have extremely dry skin).
