I was SO pleased with this camera intitially. It felt solid, looked nice, and the interface is a breeze compared with canon's. controls were in all the right (intuitive) places. Wish they had included a viewfinder though.
Its handle on color and light is pretty exceptional but then there's the killer... NOISE. and i mean LOTS of it.... in all settings all conditions. I had read some reviews that warned me of this, but never did I think it would be THIS bad. I didn't spend $200 bucks on a camera expecting the world, but i did extensive comparisons with shots taken with lesser cameras and the difference in noise was severe. I'm not sure what they're smoking at panasonic that they haven't done something about this, but needless to say, I returned it the next day.
if you are not a photoshop user, advanced hobbyist, or generally obsessive, by alll means, get this camera as otherwise its a great little package.
