I have a Nikon D80, but wanted a cheap-n-cheerful P&S for when I didn't want to lug the SLR around. I recently bought one of these second-hand for £90 and am very pleased with it.
What I like:
It's fast
Battery life is superb, and it runs from ordinary AA batteries
Flip out screen
Very flexible
Reasobaly pocketable (coat pocket)
Nice and heavy and stable with big grip
Images are just fine, and look perfect when printed.
If you're looking for a good point and shoot, and don't want to spend loads of money, you should look out for one of thses.
Problems:
The screen is a bit low-res, the text on menus a bit hard to read.
Apart from that, it's great!
