I have a Contax T3 and I'm still a beliver in film camera. I bought this T-10 mostly for my wife who needs something slim enough to fit in her clutch bag. I kinda tested it for a week before I let my wife have it. It takes okay shots under bright light (if you don't mind the over-the-top saturation and contrast), but not interior or night shots. I always used "P" mode and toned down the colour to "natural" and contrast to "minus" but still the images are very contrasty. Not for someone who likes to post-process the files before printing.

Would be interested to see how other cameras with 1/2.5" CCD do in terms of image quality.

Problems:

- It tends to overexpose quite a bit. The slow sync night portrait mode is not very useful unless the background is very well lit, because the camera wants to expose the background until it looks like bright daylight. The shutter would be dragged to up to 2 sec which is impossible to be handheld even with the steady shot function. I used -2 EV and + flash power but the shot is not perfect either.

- Horrible noise even at ISO 80. Overall images too contrasty to my liking. There's really not much you can do in Photoshop to enhance the image because of the excessive noise.

- The red eye problem is really bad and inevitable.
