I recently purchased this camera from Ebay for £315 delivered. i was keen on this camera as I have a few Pentax film cameras and lenses. I was surprised a week later with a long city break to Rome for 4 days so didn't have a lot of time to get used to the camera before i left. I used new 2700mah rechargeable batteries and they lasted me the whole trip and about 650 shots. I took the standard 18-55mm and a 28-300mm lens from my film camera. I found that the shots were pin sharp even with the second lens at 300mm (equivalent to 450mm) with the shake reduction on. In the museums there is a really useful function called museum which kills off the flash but gave me brilliant results in places like the Sistine Chapel and St Peter's as well as a few creative shots in other museums. Overall I am amazed at the quality of the shots, the features and the long life of the batteries for the money.
