The picture contrast of this camera is what I have been looking for. It has many features I am still exploring.
The oxyride batteris supplied only lasted two days but NiMh rehcageables have a much better life and I have been shooting for three days and no sign of discharge although the manual says the icon may not be accurate for batteries made by other mfrs.
Zoom is incredible and for much beyond 12x a tripod would be desireable.
It will take some time to exercise all the options of which there are many. For me its an ideal camera.
The instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired and the referenced icons are confusing. When you figure them out, you discover features you never knew you had.
I'll be posting some shots from this well designed camera. Its a real performer for the price.
