Ok, got my D60 about 2 years ago as an occasion - it was relatively cheap (even more so if you remember the original price..) and it ame in mint condition - no scratches, no male function whatsoever.
It was my personal return to a real photographic tool, since it was the first time that I was back aat SLR, since I went digital.
What a beast!
The oerall performance and feature set may be outdated, the AF is somewhat tricky (and I do not understand why the heck Canon dropped that red pattern projector they used to have in the Elan Series (EOS 50), cause the white lamp still needs contrast in the subject and often dióes not help).
But the handling is very good and the image quality in everything up to 400ISO is just outstanding, still.
Above that the camera seems to be very robust, I had more than one shooting in pooring rain aand it never let me down
Problems:
Nothing that surprised me.
Still:
- Missing eye control on the AF
- missing red pattern generator as an AF aid
- finder ist very small, an additional manual focus aid (like microprisms or this split image thing) would be great
Not much more....
