I have the F650 for rough use (cheaply bought - cheaply used) which is OK for outdoor use. The F30 is outstanding in most cases. My new F40 is better in some ways. I like the dual mode shooting option - one shot without flash folowed immediately by a flash picture. It helps get a good shot in many tricky lighting situations.
The size is great. A real pocket camera. I can give it to my novice wife and kids and get good shots back. The noise is there, but certainly better than the competition.
Picture sharpness is sometimes an issue, especially indoors at high ISO. I sometimes limit it to ISO800. Even some recent outdoor shots are not all that shrp when viewed on a PC screen, They generally look good as 4x6 prints.
Great job Fuji.
Problems:
None so far.
