Minolta DiMAGE A1 review
a very lightweight DSLR that is packed with just about every function you would ever need... even the ability to shoot video! The fact that it has a fixed lens is cool, as it reduces any risk of dust getting inside.
The only real problem I encountered with this camera is that the viewfinder is digital instead of the real thing. As an airshow photographer, this can cause problems. When you track an object across the sky, the viewfinder tries to compensate for the light, sometimes too much so... I found myself losing my target in the sun or any other particularly bright patch of sky. The digital viewfinder also made it difficult to tell if things were truly in focus or not.
Not a bad camera for average/everyday use... but don't expect much out of it if you take it to an airshow
