I upgraded from an *istDL and have been tremendously happy - I've shot about 10,000 pictures in the space of 6 months. It produces outstanding results in the right hands, punchy colour, low noise, etc. etc. There really is nothing to complain about other than a general difficulty in sourcing new Pentax lenses but that is probably *because* of how good the current bodies are.
I gave it a 4.0 on the build quality as I think the battery door is a little on the flimsy side and the handgrip can creak a little if you squeeze hard. These are minor complaints however, and this camera is very well put together considering its price class and competition.
