Have had this camera for 3 weeks. I am a very basic camera user and like to get images (that don't require post processing) that I can print (usually 6' x 4') or email. Have found the auto mode & scene selection modes (sp1 & 2) to be perfect for me.
I can restrict iso to 800 in the manual mode which is fine for no flash indoor photos, the flash though is a good one with very little red eye.
The construction is of high quality, the front panel and (black) back panel are metal, the rest seems to be plastic. The lcd is excellent and bright enough for outdoors where most of my shots are taken.
The face detection feature is fast, though I could manage without it. Macro is great for photos of flowers etc, the colours are rich.
The camera is a lot of fun and lastly, at AUS$385, it is excellent value.

Problems:

No problems for me. Others might miss proper image stabilisation. Have also read that the Fuji F20/30/31 produce better low light images (but I'm more than happy with what I'm getting out of this camera).
