The D Lux 3 is a solid feeling camera. Construction is excellent. The Leica lens is superb.
Problems:
I wish the lens was retractable. Lens cap dangles on a string while you're composing.
Forget the flash...worthless.
Carry the manual, you'll need it even for the simplest of tasks. Not very intuitive...lots of playing around with settings. Definately not worth the $$.
If you like the Leica lens, save $$ and get a Panasonic.
I had it for a few months, then sold it.
