Bought it for a trip to Canada - I wanted a camera I could literally stick in my pocket and this has proved fine. I have an Ixus 800IS bought earlier for the same purpose but its slightly too chunky for my pocket, lens is not as wide or long and photo quality is no better.

Shot about 2000 photos through the Rockies and in Alaska. Colour rendition is good, easy to make exposure alterations on the fly. The 28mm and the 200mm are very useful to have on holiday.

There is some noise but I've used Noise Ninja to lose some of it and anyway, I rarely shoot above 100ASA unless its for an intentionally 'grainy' effect.

Overall, very pleased with the camera and I am now thinking of supplementing it with the GX100 for the 24mm lens, in spite of the new review here
Build quality could be better - I had a problem with the mode slider which actually fell off and is due to be replaced.
Its an excellent camera to operate - for a relatively cheap p&s, it works very nicely and I could get to the ISO and other essential controls quickly. Operating system is dead easy and very quick. Battery life is excellent.

Problems:

Bit fragile construction, flash is not good, bit noisy,

Keyboard shortcuts
