After several months of using this little camera, I am still quite happy. Most reviews of this camera are judged as poor. I have found that the typical "out of the box" auto settings are much less than par. The first images I took were close to horrible. If you set the iso to 100, shutter speed to 1 second, pictures are great. Keep in mind that I use a tripod for stills and only use flash on rare occasions. I have taken very good shots hand holding, at down to 1/3 second, using stable mode 2. The camera really excels with natural outdoor lighting, producing excellent saturation and sharpness. Using photoshop's auto color/auto brightness, contrast options rarely change the out of the camera JPEG. They are pretty darn close, even using auto white balance. If I have the time I set up the WB manually and it's even better. Keep in mind, it is not a large image sensor slr. It is a tiny piece of point and shoot technology that takes excellent photos when set up properly.
Problems:
The only problem is that manual settings would be nice, and so would be a D200. For a $90. ebay purchase, I'm a very happy boy.
