A fine well-made camera based on a couple weeks use. A bit heavy, but that can have advantages in image quality obviously. I would recommend checking out various settings as my first test shots (my base is a bookcase!) indicated that the E3 was not as sharply focussed as my also excellent E-410. I recommend trying the narrow focus setting which is explained in the manual, though not in much detail. And of course the noise reduction settings need to be checked out to see what works and what not. I was shooting at iso 400 with low light to check lens sharpness and focus. I used both the kit 4-150 tele and the higher quality 14-54 zoom. The latter seemed warmer, but not sharper. At lower isos, with smaller apertures, I would expect superior results. I have shot at iso 1600 with the 410 and got good results in low light.

Problems:

Only as noted above. The best camera I have ever used. But the 410 sure has an edge in small size and unobtrusiveness, even without IS.
