I have upgraded to Kiss x2 (eos 450) from eos 400. The camera definitely deserves better rating than eos 400 has. One of the first things you can notice is MUCH larger display. It is i think the same resolution as eos400, but the size adds lot of comfort, easier to look through photos, it is bright, easy to read,... Next is larger and brighter viewfinder. It doesn't seem to be much different from eos400 but as you get close with eye to viewfinder, you will notice the improvement. Next, Lifeview. I would love if the screen was movable like Sony A350 has (or is it 300?), still it is very nice addition, useful when shooting something close to ground, or you want to compose on the screen (i like this feature on compact cameras). Next improvement over 400 is that you can see current ISO in viewfinder, and it has dedicated button. Another thing is that the camera feels bigger althought it is almost same size, seems easier to hold it. Also I can use the same memory card in my compact camera, slr and mobile phone... cool! (tho i have to sell old 4gb IV sandisk, anyone?) I yet have to find other bonuses eos 450 has over the eos400. First impression is very good.

Problems... I don't understand why is Canon puting piece of rubber over the connectors. It seems little bit loose. Also it has nicer right hand grip, but the overal plastic seems cheapert than eos400???
