After a 20D and 350 Rebel I bought this camera and have been most satisfied about my purchase.
I print my images and I print very big, the color and contrast of the 40D makes me smile after every print rolls out of my printer. I believe the 14 bit processing has alot to do with my satisfaction.
Best camera I have ever owned.
