Initially when I bought this camera, I thought it was a good deal. 12MP lens, 720P HD Video, small construction, 5x optical zoom for a good price.

The camera is pretty easy to use. Auto works for most cases, though I have used some of the manual modes for certain situations. Worked well.
The quality of photos is very good, though with Kodak's compression, something has to be lost. Still, for a compact point & shot - very good.
The flash is only good for about 6' in a dim room, rendering the 5x flash somewhat useless inside. Outside, the zoom works great!
Battery life is fine if you use high MAH NIMH batteries. Around 100 shots is possible on 2 batteries.

Problems:

Unlike me Z730, you can't change the compression settings for the photos. This should be included in my opinion.

The video capture on this camera is as bad as some people have said. Video appears to capture fine, but when it is played back, it is so jerky, that it is tough to watch. Especially on a computer or an HD TV. High speed memory cards make no difference, and sending it back for repair (under warranty) didn't fix it either. It must be bad design in this camera.

Too bad, because it really had potential - for the price.
