The Eos 450D is an great camera.
Focus is fast reable sharp pictures,great resolution.
and good color.
The Lcd is great you can see your pictures in full sun.kudos canon.
the camera is muts lighter then the D70s
Pictures out of the box are sharper from the D70s,but I admit on an 6 Mp censor it wil be normal.
The Extra resolution can be used to crop abit more.
but is not the importend factor..
I still hope canon make bodys with less MP say 8 Mp and try to even better use for low light.

not thad the 450D resolution is bad,but at 12 MP the pictures get softer.
The kit lens is not bad,but for landscape or buildings you wil get softer corners.
Even at F/11
Thads an pitty becouse I have to look for an better lens now,with cost more monye.
For me the kit lens,18-55 (IS) is not importend.
I rator saw an good edge to edge lens instead of (IS)
The camera itself is alot better then the 350D.
while the 350D exposure abit darker the 450D overexposure somtimes.
Expecial when you take an picture where the foreground is abit dark and the bakground is white.
But thads 1 picture so far.
I must admid I am verry happy with the 450D
just want an better lens,for the rest verry good camera in al respect.
