After trying this Ixus 960 mostly because the previous posters did a great test series about how good this is Ive found it not as good as I had hoped but I am going to adjust things and report if I can get the 960 to have better results,. It is very well made in titanium but has not much control and its a point and shoot after all so cant complain too much, But the better IQ and better sharpness reported by the previous posters fine combined test of this the G9 a Panny and even a 40D I have not found the 960 to be exeptionall as yet ,and a G9 Ive been trying is giving better sharper IQ and printed photo results saying that Ive yet to adjust the focus options ect + custom settings and will try again

EDITED ,After setting the focus points and custom color sharpness saturation ect and using the custom timer one second to take shots and not using the digital zoom like before i can report i am much happier and the 960 nearly indeed matches the G9 for sharpness , a little care in setting it up works wonders so I think this Ixus is better than I thought and have not returned it after all.
