I have used p5000 and just got p6000 two days ago. I have taken a few photos. My first impression was that it's bigger and havyer than p5000, which is very compact. But, p6000 is still pocketable. I put it in my Northface downjacket and had no problem. The constraction looks better than p5000's which was already quite good for a compact digicam. I feel it is more like a real camera. I was very impressed with its initial IQ especially with the RAW format so far. I do not expect it works better than my DSLR, but the IQ from p6000 is quite impressive. I think it's better than p5000. A big improvement from p5000 is the shoutter shutter lag and 28mm wide angle lens. I used wide and tele conversion lenses with p5000, but I think I will not need to often use it and may just need to carry tele conversion lens. For carrying-around camera p6000 seems to meet my needs.
p6000 seems to have a lot more funictions than p5000 and I need time to learn them, but I think it should not be a problem for me. I will post some photos I took with p6000 in Nikon forum.
Problems:
None so far.
