I bought it for me, but I wasn't too happy with the image quality, so I gave it away (as a gift to a relative, it is her first digital camera, so I'm sure she won't be pixelpeeping, she'll be using the camera for small prints).
I think HD video is just a gimmick since it's
1. noisy indoors
2. prone to highlight clipping (overexposure) in bright sunshine
A tip: buy SD880 (Ixus 870) instead. Better design, larger LCD and better photographs. No HD video tho'...Nothing's perfect
Problems:
1. noise and heavy noise reduction, even at low iso, the pixel density of 43 MP/cm2 is way too high
2. awkward design (it looks and feels like a swimmer waterproof camera, but it isn't)
