I agree with demch, 19 May 08 review.
I do not think the image quality is very good at all. I am ready to exchange this camera. None of the features matter at all on this camera if the resulting image quality is this bad. When I loaded my vacation photos onto my laptop and zoom into each photo every single photo is very pixelly. I used the highest possible photo quality setting. None of the images are comparable to my Nikon L1 p&S 6.2 MP camera which is the camera I was trying to replace. I have never seen images that look this poor on my laptop and perhaps it is overcompression. I am taking images taken with my Nikon L1 and Canon XTi and Panasonic LZ8 back to the camera store tomorrow to illustrate the poor image quality obtained from this camera. I am very disappointed and would not recommend this camera to people who are looking for high quality image quality!

Problems:

- long time writing to memory card when using flash.
- extremely slow and poor focusing ability while taking photos of my kids boogie boarding in the waves. Alot of photos were not in focus. My Nikon L1 camera was very capable of taking in focus photos of boogie boarding.
- I can see no image stabilization enhancement at all.
- all photos taken with both 4x and 5x optical zoom were not in focus so this feature is worthless.
