Construction: Although a plastic body it feels a lot sturdier than other entry level dslrs I have held (canon 400d in particular). Fits well in my hands also.
Features: Only thing really lacking is live view which is in the a300. Image stabilisation is a nice feature.
IQ: Very pleased with IQ. I shoot RAW where I know IQ is going to be of importance, so reports of a soft JPEG engine are not worrying.
Ease of use: no problems here, ergonomics are to my liking.
Value: it's an absolute bargain.
