I've had a Canon 1ds system for some years and an Olympus E1/E400/E3 system
alongside. Was fascinated by this when I picked it up. The viewfinder is superb,
though not for following action with multiple shots. The system is very light, esp.
the telezoom. Battery life is okay. I bought a spare battery. I think that the
Intelligent mode where the camera chooses the mode is very good. Had come
across it previously in a Panasonic Compact. The image quality is very good,
though the Panasonic lenses are IMO not quite as good as the Olympus ones. Slight
touch of chromatic aberration here and there. Manual focus, if you want it is
superb. The three most important things about this camera are 1. Lack of weight. 2.
Lack of weight and 3. Lack of weight.
I haven't used it beyond 800 iso yet but why would I? The IS is good.
I've actually had to read the manual on several occasions. e.g. some of the modes
need explanation and are not intuitive.

Problems:

Understanding some of the modes! My existing Raw convertors don't work (Bibble
and
Aperture) and the Silkypix one supplied is SSSSSLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOWWWWWWW.
Mind you, the JPGs appear very good indeed, though I've added some extra
sharpening afterwards.

I've now had camera three months and have done lots of photography with it,
including a 16 day bicycle tour. It's a great holiday camera. I mean great, especially
for cycling as it weighs nothing. You need a spare battery. Image wise, it's plenty
good enough for e.g. Wedding photography.
Have now had it two years. It's very good for everything except sports, where continuous AF is useless (I use Canon 1Div for that) and poor light, as I've yet to buy the 20 f1.7
