I've been using Canon40D and Canon SD700 IS. After
reading so many good reviews about ZS3, I was
excited to get my hands on one. I must say that I was
very disappointed after two days of use. Image quality
so so, color not very accurate, a bit slow to take
another shot, sluggish to play back images and zoom
into images and overall just doesn't feel right. Long
zoom is good, but has to be used in bright sun light.
This is just my first impression. No scientific comparison.
With this said, I am not ready to give up on ZS3 just
yet. I think it may be because I am so used to the way
Canon behaves that I am not using this camera to its
full capacity. I'll give it more try before drawing final
conclusion.
Anyone out there who has been using canon P&S
camera for a few years and now fall into love with ZS3?
