Excellent user interface. The popup flash is not as annoying as you'd think, and can handle being squashed. Though, if you hand your camera to an old lady, she will hold it by the flash. The image quality on full zoom is the same as the SX110. Macro is not bad, but there is no telescopic macro, so it is difficult to zoom onto close (50cm) subjects. Movies are amazing quality. You immediately want to re-encode them to lower bandwidth, but nature videos suffer badly. It definitely works from your pocket.
