I changed from istDS. Long wait but worth it.
I have it only for 2 weeks yet, so it is just a preliminary report, will need more time
to discover in full.
I instantly liked the ergonomics. Its grip is damn comfortable.
Second is its shutter. Quick and its sound is smooth. Good in sensitive and quiet
environment.
Then the auto exposure and colors are pretty accurate with nice in camera tuning
(like the landscape optimized was something that I'd do for myself manually).
The user interface I also cannot blamed. Quite easy to reach a lot. Even the two
level HDR - which works also convincing, though I am not HDR junkie, but under
sharp contrast lighting will be useful for sure.
I also love the movie feature. Good enough sound and the stabilizer is nicely
working. For all the lenses, from 10-20 to 135 (I tried these yet).
So far very satisfied and don't sorry the money spent. Not a bit.

I don't buy why is it required to press a button before turning the function dial. I was
living without it, now it annoys me.
The LCD screen is not that easy to wipe from fingerprints. It can easily be 'smokey'.
