Coming from the K20D, it's main advantages for me is the silent shutter sound and the faster frame rate. When shooting events or when I'm out in nature, a silent shutter is a must have. The improved frame rate invreases my chances of getting the shot just right when shooting moving wildlife.
Builld quality is excellent, I have no doubts when using heavy lenses on it or when putting it down in the sand, dirt, etc.
Problems:
HSS flash with ambient light dictating a shutter above 1/180s is too hot for my taste. The previous models were spot on, the K-7 needs some further tuning.
