This is one of the best compacts I have used. Others include Canon G7,9,10, S90, Panasonic LX2.
Good lens, zoom range, handling, image quality at low and high ISO, monitor screen. Quick, easy setting exposure compensation. Most adjustments quick and easy to set. Good RAW files, compatible with ACR 6.1. Very good price, better value for money than competitors.

Problems:

The lens cap is a bit of a nuisance. Slow writing RAW files to card. Write to card takes 8 seconds after one shot, 10 seconds after two shots with the "processing" sign displayed if camera use is attempted during this period. My thumb often bumps the mode dial to a different setting. The screen while better than most is still hard to see in bright light. Highlights often blow out with subjects having a high brightness range requiring exposure compensation to be applied.
