Having used this lens for 3 years I have to say that it does its job well enough.
I've no complaints about its optical properties but the build quality falls below an acceptable standard for the price and not what you expect from a Zeiss lens.
If you can get it at a discount then it's a reasonable buy.
Problems:
No problems really although it is quite a heavy lens when paired with a small A55 body and the zoom ring moves without the finesse expected at the price.
