For its price and size, this camera has a lot to offer. This camera has the same sensor as several other Canon point-and-shoots released in Q3 of 2011. It is the cheapest and smallest with this sensor. Its extreme compactness combined with 8X optical zoom and fast handling (for a point-and-shoot) make this a winner for me.
I shoot the Nikon D300s and D7000 SLRs when the situation demands / allows for it. So, this Canon point-and-shoot is all about getting acceptable results in an extremely compact form factor. For its < $250 price this is a winner.
