I bought one of these to replace a HP which gave me great prints with minimum effort but which suffered paper feed problems. The Epson produces quality prints but it's not a printer that you just plug in and use IMVHO as if you do that the prints can be quite dark.

After suffering dark prints (my initial prints turned daylight into dusk) I Googled "Epson Dark Prints" and I was amazed at the number of people tearing their hair out trying to solve this problem. It's even mentioned in several reviews I read and although a fix is easy for some others really struggle, as I did.

To sum up... this a great printer if you are willing to put in the time and effort to make sure that you are using the correct paper and drivers and all the right settings but if you just want something that will just plug in and go and give you great prints from the off with minimum effort... this isn't the printer for you.

Google "Epson R2880 dark prints" before buying.
