My comment: A bigger pixel size will deliver higher ISO & lower noise. This wants every photographer. A smaller sensor size will not help as then for the same amount of pixels the pixel size will be smaller, resulting in MORE noise and lower ISO.
The solution is or:
1. The biggest possible sensor size allowing a bigger pixel size for the same amount of pixels
OR
2. Going for a smaller sensor BUT reducing dramatically the amount of pixels so that the pixel size
remains equal.
I am very happy that SONY has chosen for the APS-C sensor and not for a smaller sensor like micro 4/3.
