I just bought this camera today in Shanghai, and have tested a little. I had the S90 and have less knowledge of the successors. But to conclusion is so far that I am happy with my upgrade.
What I like:
- the surface of the camera is non-slippery and solid.
- the 24 mm wideangle is superb! Really love this!
- big screen, that is also touchable and makes it easy for some of the functions like setting the setting the focus point, writing your copyright info and Wifi settings.
- the dialing wheel on back is solid and easy to use. The buttons dont feel small in my hands.
- it's still small and easy to bring around!
- The shutter feels faster than before.
Cons:
- A little dark with only f/5.9 on the max tele. But I like the zoom have x5.
- Not sure about the wifi-connections... I have an iphone and ipad and really like the use of ShutterSnitch. I want to take picture and automatically upload to my ipad. Without working to much with this, it doesn't look like I can do this (like I did with my Eye-fi). Now you have to select pictures manually for upload. Maybe someone else can help me out with this issue?
