thanks for the most recent posts. I'm looking for a good source so I can buy this lens myself.

I'm really interested in seeing how it does around the edges of the full size image at full optical telephoto, not just the center of the image.

This shot from a previous post is full frame and full optical zoom. Sorry but all my other shots so far only have OOF stuff near the edges

Mark, I told you this was discussed in earlier threads, and I even gave you lniks to them. If I have to spell it out well then...

from full wide to about 50% zoom you will get vignetting from about 50% to full zoom there is no vignetting.
