Forget about using scene modes. Since the S4200 has Fuji's usual PASM shooting modes, just put the top dial on S (shutter priority) or M (manual mode) and you'll be able to set the shutter speed to the longest duration that the S4200 allows. Some of Fuji's cameras don't allow particularly long shutter speeds, so you may need to use manual mode, which usually allows shutter speeds as long as 30 seconds. One warning though. I don't know if Fuji does this with the S4200 or not, but Fuji's cameras often link the ISO to the shutter speed, lowering the ISO as the shutter speed is made slower, which completely defeats the purpose of trying to shoot in low light. As the S4200 only shoots JPEGs, this could be a pretty severe restriction if the light is too dark.nyrich wrote:
