This is the kind of image can is near impossible with cameras which are not perfectly synchronized. using a pair of canon cameras synched with SDM firmware, it is possible to get within 1/10,000 sec.

I like your picture, but from 3D point of view it have some misalignment. I solved the problem in PS and if you wish to see I can show you my variant.




As you said, synchronization was very important in a 3D picture with moving water.
 
Are you referring to the keystoning effect where the trees appear to leaning inward at the top? This is caused by pointing the cameras upward. Yes this could be fixed in PS.
 
No, I'm talking about vertical alignment in different direction at the bottom and top of the image, suggesting that the two cameras could have slightly different settings at the focal length of the lenses.
