. . . which I have been doing (as I suspect others also have). Just wrapped up a 30 minute documentary for PBS with 300 photos. No easy task. Ken Burns effect, original audio, etc. Lots of work.

Do I need a new body? NOPE. It's just a fun thing. That's what makes photography so multi-facaded.

No insult meant, but how are you doing?

I'm not sure which part I'd take as the insult but I'm doing well, thanks for asking :-) Busy, joined the local photographic society and spending quite a bit of time helping out with that. Met lots of new people, my photos have done pretty well in the monthly judging too which has been nice. Here are some images from fairly recently.

All very nice, but the 4th is rather exceptional. Keep cranking!!!! I haven't judged in years, but this would get very high marks.

Thanks Steve. I've submitted the 1st, 3rd and 4th so far, the first scored 26/30 and i think 3 and 4 were around 22. It depends so much on the judges so I don't take it too hard. I was on eNo's site (imagesbyeduardo.com) a while ago and he has a photo almost exactly the same as my 4th one. I have fun and there's always something more to learn, that's the most important part to me :-)

Here's another one I was playing with last night. Hoping to get some nice snow in the mountains soon so I can get out and get some winter landscapes. Planning on working more on some portraits and macro stuff too. You've got so much nice stuff in the areas out where you live, I love your ghost town images :-) Hoping to get out there some time.
