>>>Weekly OLYMPUS 4/3 DSLR PHOTOS

Rich, should be a great ride when its done, especially with vintage steam! (Not sure I want to go through the tunnel with steam though.)

Thanks for contributing,

Andrew

Two very different images, both good. Like the second for its romantic look. Have no idea what I am actually looking at in the first, good graphic image though. Out of curiosity, do you have a shot from a different angle of the first to give a better idea of the what you are showing in the image because I have no idea what the white thing is?

Thanks for contributing,

Andrew

I took the photo outside my home when i saw the "worm" totally finished off my flower. Cant said much about technic cos i dont have any. just aim and shoot away.

Hi Andrew,

Thank's for your comment.

I can understand that you are a bit puzzled but in the Netherlands it's a well known building and put on paper from all kind of angles and that's why I took the picture completely different.

This is the link to the dutch wikipedia with the info of the building.

Charles, while I find it a very fine image and beautiful captured up to the skies with excelent bokeh and colors, I didn't find nor recognize such an example as a potato plant in Holland, but the family of Solanaceae seems quite extended. Maybe this specie has a South American origine. Good shot.

Went for a walk after work and the colors are pretty nice now. Won't last for long but luckily I have a nice conservation area near me.

X marks the spot. Nice old growth area .

Sycamores are my favorite tree.

These will all be gone soon :(

Too bad Autumn doesn't last longer.

I goofed and omitted the most important word...."sweet". Thanks for catching the error. Charles Baxter

Yes, the worst thing about autumn not lasting long is that we know what follows! Lovely fall colours. Like the last image.

Thanks for contribuing,

Andrew

Fine fall color here. The last invites one to try a walk across the downed tree trunk. The first would be fun to" crop in" on the X somewhat to make it very prominent in the frame . Good shooting. Charles baxter

Not a great image (taken from a moving bus) but one I had to take! Can't get the tune out of my head now! No sign of the Eagles, bald or otherwise.

The digital image is a dozen or so words
positioned carefully to paint a picture

that challenges the eye
and tricks the mind

into thinking, light is a title
and the palette a taste bud
worth tasting.

Moth on flower captured with E-330 + ZD 14-54mm Mk1. This flower was at ground level so I cannot use VF luckily I was with the right camera ;)....with its unique liveview feature.

Thanks for looking and Comments are appreciated.

Nice detail in the moth. Exif says 283 mm, so not 14 -54? Background nicely out of focus with pleasing colour.

Thanks for contributing,

Andrew

Like the blue 36! Don't recognize it, but the hood emblem looks like a jaguar. Right hand drive and parked on the left side of the road. You drive on the left in NZ?
