A few shots from Montreal

I love the lighting and exposure in #1 and the mood in #4, nicely done.

was nice of you to think of us and include a pretty girl or two.
Nicely done, they have an impact about them that is obvious 'street'

I really enjoy your first photograph. The light on that one is great, especially the little highlights on the people.

I shoot film. I shoot digital. Both are great in their own ways. The nice thing about film is that I can always have the most advanced imaging technology around packed into my 20 year old camera. That's one aspect of digital that I loathe.

Hey nice photos. I like the way you used the black and white shades and the photography technique. It is so enlightening and gives the 40s or 50s era kind of ambience. In addition to that, the best thing I liked about the photo is the sharpness and the clear picture presentation of it. I just want to know what camera did you use? It looks awesome.

Thanks. I have been using Fuji X100 for 10 months or so. Steep learning curve coming from Nikon D300. Anyway it was a hate/love relation in the beginning and now it is more the other way around. The camera has some serious flaws/limitation to it such as slow write speed and an AF that is just different from DSLR. Even with those flaws, the camera is capable of producing some amazing gems.

Fuji somehow infused their film knowledge into the camera. The color pallet in it can produce very retro looking photos. And those colors produce wonderful B&W. I use Lightroom & Photoshop to make all photo adjustment, clarity, dodge & burn, etc.
