Have been experimenting with the resolving power of the nx200 & 18-200mm combo.
Trying for some macro shots and wanted to share some results.

Taken from within the car park of a local bank in the area. Their furry nature was what attracted my attention. The nx200 hanging off the 18-200mm lens was what attracted the attention of the bank security :) Guess it looked a little intimidating. They promptly came out and 'politely' asked me to leave, heh, in the interests of security of course. I need to get out of the big smoke and go rural :P
Mixture of jpeg and raw.
Windy conditions made it somewhat challenging to get manual focus correct.
Also curious how they will come out on the forum web site. My first time.

Great set of shots ,respect for doing it manual me i would have used AF but i'm a lazy ass .

thanks, it was tricky.

I ended up creeping over there again after hours to 'nab' an end off one of the many plants there.

Got it at home in a small vase now an been playing around with different camera settings and a flash as well in a controlled environment.

One thing I noticed was trying to get up close and zoom as well required to be a minimum distance away. I guess thats why the macro 60mm has a min. distance of 19cm. But still the 18-200mm bests the 50-200mm by half according to the spec. sheet. So I can get twice as close. In fact I have been focusing and and zooming closer than 30cm (manual focus).
Looking forward to try and mix some close up flora and fauna.

I gotta get me one of those 60mm, but I already have the 30mm and 18-200mm and thats enough atm for an hobby guy like me.
